Privacy

This policy explains which personal data we process when you use BullWife, why, for how long, and what your rights are (EU Regulation 2016/679, "GDPR").

Data controller

The controller is BullWife, which you can contact about any privacy question at [email protected].

What data we process

Account. Email, password (stored only as a cryptographic hash, never in plain text), date of birth (to check you are an adult), profile type, language, and the date you accepted the terms and gave your consent. The email is stored encrypted. If you sign in with Google, Google gives us the account identifier, email and name; we never receive your password.

Profile. Chosen name, town or city, description, photos (public or private), the people in the profile with the details you choose to share (age, height, build, orientation, gender identity, appearance, languages, role), boundaries, preferences and tags.

Data about sex life. Much of the profile information concerns your sex life and sexual orientation: these are "special categories of data" (Art. 9 GDPR). We process them only with your explicit consent, which you give when signing up and can withdraw by closing your account.

Content and activity. Messages (stored encrypted), photos and videos sent in chat, stories, books, comments, reviews, last minute posts, trips, groups, favourites, blocks and reports.

Location. Your profile shows only your town or city, never your address. On the map, if you choose to share your area, your exact position stays on your phone: the site only receives an area of about one kilometre (or larger, if you choose), which disappears when the time you set expires.

Technical data. IP address and browser data, processed for security, abuse limits and to run the service; technical logs are kept for a short time. If you enable push notifications we store the delivery address provided by your browser.

Statistics and marketing. Only if you accept from the cookie banner, and only on public pages while you are not signed in: Google Analytics counts visits and page views in aggregate form, Google Ads measures campaigns. Pages reserved to members are never measured. Details on the cookie page.

Why we process them and on what basis

• To provide the service (contract, Art. 6.1.b): account, profile, search, messages, content.
• With your explicit consent (Art. 9.2.a): data about sex life and orientation.
• With your consent (Art. 6.1.a): statistics and campaign measurement with Google cookies, which you can refuse or withdraw from "Cookie preferences".
• For safety and moderation (legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f): preventing abuse, fake profiles, spam and fraud, handling reports.
• To meet legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c): answering requests from the authorities.

We do not use your account and profile data for advertising or commercial profiling, and we do not sell it.

Who sees your data

Other members see your profile according to the settings you choose: private photos only the people you allow, never your email, date of birth or exact position. People you have blocked do not see your profile.

Data is processed by providers working on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• hosting of servers and photos in Germany (European Union);
• Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site;
• Brevo, which sends the service emails;
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google and, only with your consent, for statistics (Google Analytics) and campaign measurement (Google Ads);
• OpenFreeMap, which provides the maps: when you open a map your browser downloads them from its servers.

Some providers may process data outside the European Union; in that case the transfer is protected by the safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you close it we delete your account and profile data, photos and messages within 30 days. Published stories and books may stay online anonymously, as explained in the terms of service. We may keep for longer only what is needed for legal obligations or to defend ourselves in a dispute (for example evidence of a serious violation).

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format (portability) or object to its processing. You can withdraw your consent whenever you want, without affecting what was done before. Write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with: we reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country.

Minors

BullWife is forbidden to people under 18. If we find out an account belongs to a minor we close it and delete its data.

Security

We use encrypted connections, store emails and messages encrypted, store passwords as hashes and protect staff access with two-factor authentication. No system is perfect: if we discover a breach affecting you we will tell you as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way we will tell you on the site or by email.
