Here are the answers to the most frequent questions. If you cannot find what you need write to [email protected]: we usually reply within two working days.

Account and sign-in

I forgot my password. On the sign-in page choose "Get a link by email": we send you a link that signs you in without a password. Then you can set a new one from the avatar menu → Account and settings.

The email does not arrive. Check your spam or promotions folder and that the address is spelled correctly. Emails usually arrive within seconds.

How do I change my password? From the avatar menu → Account and settings. To change your email write to [email protected] from your current address.

How do I close my account? Write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with: we close it within 30 days and delete your data as explained in the privacy policy.

Profile

How do I add the second person of the couple? From your profile, in Edit profile → The two of you, create an invitation and send the link to your partner: when they sign in with their own account, the profile becomes theirs too.

How do I change profile photo and cover? In Edit profile → Photos you can upload a new photo and crop it, or pick one from your gallery.

Who sees my private photos? Only the people in your profile. Public photos are seen by members; people who are not members do not see profile photos.

Can I hide my face? Yes: upload photos with your face covered or cropped, and keep private the ones where you are recognisable.

Messages and contacts

Why can't I write to a profile? Some profiles accept messages only from people with certain features, or they blocked you. The first message arrives as a request: the conversation opens when the person accepts.

What are view-once photos? In chat you can send photos and videos that can be opened only once. Remember that no technology fully prevents a screenshot: only send what you feel comfortable sending.

Map and location

Does the site know my exact position? No. Your profile shows only your town or city. On the map, if you share your area, the site only receives an area of at least one kilometre and the sharing ends when the time you choose expires.

The map puts me in the wrong town. On a computer the browser estimates the position from your internet address and can be many kilometres off: in that case use "Choose on the map". On a phone, turn on precise location.

Safety and reports

How do I report a profile or content? Use "Report" from the ⋯ menu of the profile, on the photo, message or comment. The reported person does not know who reported them.

How do I block someone? From the ⋯ menu of the profile or chat, "Block". The person no longer sees your profile and cannot write to you. The list of blocked profiles is in the avatar menu.

Notifications

How do I turn on notifications on my phone? Add the site to your home screen (from the browser menu, "Add to Home screen") and enable notifications when we ask, or from the avatar menu → Notifications.
