Cookies
Nous n'utilisons que des cookies techniques, nécessaires au fonctionnement du site : voici lesquels et à quoi ils servent.
Dernière mise à jour : 30 octobre 2026
BullWife uses technical cookies, needed to run the site, and, only if you accept, Google cookies for statistics and to measure advertising campaigns. We do not use cookies to profile you and we do not sell data to third parties.
Statistics only cover public pages and visitors who are not signed in: pages reserved to members (profiles, messages, map) are never measured.
Technical cookies (always on)
| Name | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| bw_session | Keeps you signed in | until the browser closes, or 30 days with "Remember me on this device" |
| bw_age | Remembers that you confirmed you are an adult | 1 year |
| bw_consent | Remembers your cookie choices | 6 months |
| lang | Remembers the site language | 1 year |
| bw_theme | Remembers the light or dark theme | 1 year |
| bw_skin | Remembers the site look, if you pick one | 1 year |
| bw_invite | Keeps the couple profile invitation while you sign up | up to 7 days |
| bw_goauth | Protects the Google sign-in while you complete it | a few minutes |
| bw_vid | Anonymous identifier to count reads and votes of visitors who are not members | 1 year |
Cloudflare, which protects the site, may set technical security cookies (for example __cf_bm) to recognise automated traffic: they last at most 30 minutes.
Technical cookies do not require consent (guidelines of the Italian data protection authority, 10 June 2021).
Statistics and marketing cookies (only with consent)
On your first visit we ask whether you accept them, with a banner where "Reject" and "Accept all" carry the same weight; with "Customise" you choose each category. Until you choose, and if you reject, Google is not loaded at all.
| Name | Category | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, ga* | Statistics | Google Analytics: counts visits and page views in aggregate form | up to 2 years |
| _gcl_au | Marketing | Google Ads: measures how campaigns perform | 90 days |
Consent is handled with Google Consent Mode v2: Google receives your choice and respects it. These are Google cookies (Google Ireland Limited), processed according to Google's own policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Changing your choices
You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie preferences" in the footer. We ask for consent again after 6 months anyway. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings: if you block technical ones, some parts of the site will not work.
Browser storage
The site also stores a few preferences in your browser that never leave your device: the size and theme of story text, the app install notice you already closed, your reading position.
